Minidriver is a software component, which integrates MyEID card with Windows' newest smart card technologies. Minidriver provides the smart card vendor specific interface for CNG (Cryptography API: Next Generation) and CryptoAPI (CSP). User interface and other functionality is provided by standard Windows components, so the user experience is smoothly interated to Windows. Aventra's minidriver has received Microsoft's Hardware Certification. The minidriver is a fast and lightweight component, which is easy to install.

Aventra has developed a minidriver for MyEID cards and tokens. It currently supports Windows XP, Vista, 7, 8 and Windows Server 2003 and 2008. Both 32 and 64 bit versions are supported. MyEID Minidriver is available for download on Windows Update. On Windows 7 and 8, it is downloaded automatically, if you have Smart Card Plug & Play enabled.
